When does it begin?
- To get early access to shop, you will have to be a card holder. You can shop Early Access starting August 13—shop even earlier depending on your status.
- Nordstrom Anniversary Sale officially open to everyone August 19–30. Prices go up August 31.
How to Shop?
I’m always down for a sale and saving when I can. However, I know for my clients sometimes shopping during a sale can be overwhelming. Seeing that the sale is in August, shopping for Fall season will be ideal.
Therefore, shopping for sundresses or flip flops is not necessary (unless you’re going on vacation or a quick getaway soon after)
Here is a list of items I think you should have in your wishlist:
Cardigans Under $100
Cardigans are basic wardrobe pieces you can use year round. I love shopping Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to stock up on quality cardigans because I use them so much.
You can get a light material for spring/summer, and layer with a jacket for fall/winter.
For colors, having neutrals like grey and black is perfect to start with. Colors are fine, but you want to ensure you get colors that you use most of the time.
Jeans Under $100
Another basic in your capsule wardrobe are jeans. For Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, you should either get a classic wide leg and high waist jeans are great additions.
I love classic boots or booties for Fall season. Also a must have in your Fall wardrobe capsule. These styles you can pair nicely with jeans, tights, skirts and dresses.
Leggings Under $100
Leggings are a must have to create a comfortable, chic and flattering look for any event.
I think for this Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, the Spanx faux leggings will be a popular grab.
Plaid, solid and fitted blazers will be perfect to get for fall. Blazers have become a staple in my wardrobe. They can easily make any outfit look chic and stylish.
Handbags
I love getting designer bags on sale, especially in colors I can wear with most of my wardrobe. A must have for me is a Tote bag.
